Well, we did it!

We could not be any more excited to kick off our first season! This month started with a successful wine tasting fundraiser for PopCares. It’s a Non-Profit organization that helps local cancer patients in the Northern Berkshires and surrounding Southern Vermont towns. We had 200 people come out to support and were able to raise over $4,000 dollars! Doubling our original goal of $2,000 dollars. We could not have done it without The Spirit Shop, Crisp Catering, James Hall EventsAustin Bayliss’ delicious sweet treats!

While I still have a few design details to finish up around the Barn and Silo Suite, the construction is done and we are ready for the weddings & events to begin!  Both Greg and I have said it a few times already, but we couldn’t have been happier with the construction process with Bob, Harry, and Jamie.  Them, along with a whole host of other contractors worked very hard for the past year to help us get to where we are now, and it’s almost impossible to let them know how much we have appreciated their efforts on our behalf.

Making Bloom Meadows a reality was a huge scary leap of faith! You can never predict how things will go when you start a business. You can do endless hours of research & planning, and still have no guarantee that you will succeed, or even survive. We thank the community, vendors and all of our couples for the immense amount of support, well wishes, and honest encouragement. Truly, because of you all, Bloom Meadows is a reality.
