Hey Everyone! Greg and I have once again fallen behind on the blogs during this busy wedding season but, we wanted to let everyone know what has been going on, and what we have in store for the upcoming winter season.2018 has flown by, and we are down to our last couple weddings of the year. We experienced our first indoor ceremony, we built our bridge that has become a great “first look” spot! We have started construction on our house, but most of all we have been able to build a lot of great memories with the families we have had the privilege of working with! Hopefully, you all have been following along with our Instagram stories and Facebook posts highlighting the events! We even had Rachel start up a SnapChat page, so if any of you are on there, make sure to give us a follow! Once we finish up our wedding season we will be sure to post a photo-blog highlighting our second season!
While the winter season is slower for us wedding wise, we like to keep busy. So, we have a few fun events coming up! On November 9th, (yup, this Friday!) We are hosting our first ever comedy night, featuring Mike Vecchione! He has starred on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. This should be a great show with a handful of talented comedians. Our friends from The Spirit Shop will be behind the bar and have put together a great Beer & Wine selection for you all to enjoy!
Last year we hosted our first Father-Daughter Winter Ball, a fundraiser for the Hancock Fire Department. We really weren’t sure how many people would show up as it was the first year and we are a little out of the way for some folks. Luckily, it was a huge hit! and we are excited to be hosting our second annual Father-Daughter Winter Ball on January 12th, 2019! We already have some great vendors locked in, Brian McZawa and Harminy Entertainment are coming back to rock the house with music and lighting, and we are SO excited to announce that Berkshire Photobooth will be here! All proceeds will go to the Hancock Fire Department, so make sure to come out and support a great cause! Tickets and further information will be up soon!
Now, for the last two years, we have been floating the idea of having a square dance here at Bloom. However, other events took priority, time passed, we got busy… people told us it wouldn’t be a hit…and well, it just fell to the wayside. Not anymore! We will be hosting a “Hancock Hoedown” to benefit the newly re-opened Taylor Memorial Library in Hancock. With live music and a talented caller, it’s sure to be a great night, no matter your talent level! Mark your calendars for February 2nd, 2019 and come out and support the library!
Lastly, The Bloom Bridal Market will be taking place come early Spring! As things come together and dates get assigned we will be updating you all!
